This 9-member strong group is a passionate bunch, dedicated to bringing about a change in society with their insightful and moving street plays. To get their message across, they combine strong scripts with passionate enactments. Dedicated to making their plays relatable and easy to understand, they keep their plots straight, simple and lively. They also pick topical themes like violence against women, corruption, domestic violence and discrimination to impart social messages that inspire change. Their dedication to theatre played a big role in deciding upon the name ‘Jazba’ which means ‘to put your all into something.
